The variety or our product range offers the bookbinding industry all the bonding solutions required for the production of high-quality packaging and hardcover books, both with square and round spines, ensuring high strength over time. Our adhesives stand our for their excellent adhesion and elasticity in binding gauze and endband processing.

The PVA vinyl adhesives range, designed for “embedding line” processing, ensures high-performance bonding, even at high production speeds, and is characterized in particular by high adhesion on plasticized paper.

Our jelly protein glues range ensures maximum efficacy and cleanliness in the hardback cover production process, adapting to every type of paper and every processing speed. It is especially recommended for manufacturers who work in damp and difficult climatic environments.

To complete the range, we also have adhesives that comply with Food and Drug Administration regulations.

Hot melt EVA Use Features

IVYMELT 3060

Spine glue for medium-speed production lines, where fast setting speed is required.

Hot melt for stitched and bonded paperback books, ideal for medium-low speed machines. It allows for an excellent spine to be achieved, both square and round, with high mechanical strength. It is suitable for universal use.

IVYMELT 3068

Spine glue for one-shot stitched and bonded magazines, using medium-low speed machinery.

Flexible Hot melt with high adhesion, even on difficult paper. It is recommended for the production of round spine books for its elasticity and softness. It has good resistance even at low temperatures. Its composition and excellent spreadability prevent the appearance of glue holes and/or gaps on the spine of the book.

IVYMELT 4001 PS

Side glue and application of crease for medium-low production speed.

Clear Hot melt with high adhesion. Ensures an invisible bond line. Dosing the adhesive correctly keeps the blades clean during the final cutting of the spine.

 

Metallocene Hot melt Use Features

IVYMELT 3495 RM

Spine glue for bonding books using medium-speed binding machines. Suitable for digital printing.

Next-generation Hot melt, characterized by aggressive bonding specifically for medium-high grammage paper, over 130g. It has high cohesion and penetration on inked paper, maintaining elasticity even at low temperatures. It ensures a significant reduction in consumption compared to conventional EVA Hot melt adhesives. Thanks to its elasticity and softness, it allows for a rounded book spine to be achieved. It ensures superior and unaltered gluing quality over time.

IVYMELT X 958

Side glue for bonding in medium-high speed production lines.

Next-generation Hot melt, clear and with high adhesion, which allows for a significant reduction in consumption compared to conventional EVA Hot melt adhesives. Dosing the adhesive correctly keeps the blades clean during the final cutting of the spine.

 

Jelly glues Use Features

IVYBOND GT 1519/E

Jelly protein glue for bonding head banding stations on medium-speed production lines.

Ready-to-use white protein adhesive specifically for bonding the headband. It ensures an elastic and strong bond line.

IVYBOND GT 1454/E

Jelly protein glue for medium-high speed book cover machines.

Ready-to-use protein adhesive for book cover machines, with productivity from 30 to 60 cycles/minute. The high quality of the product ensures clean and precise application with a high yield.

 

PVA vinyl adhesives Use Features

EMMEVIL 930

Vinyl dispersion adhesive for casing machines.

Versatile adhesive with good adhesion even on heavy, coated, plasticized, or treated paper. Good balance between open time and setting speed. Flexible and strong even at low temperatures.

EMMEVIL 820

Vinyl dispersion adhesive for gauzing.

Fast, high-viscosity adhesive characterized by excellent thixotropy (does not drip). It ensures strong high-performance gauzing with excellent mechanical properties.
